- 1 cup of cooked beets, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1/4 cup of vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Mix the salt, sugar, cornstarch. and add it to the vinegar.
Boil the mixture for 5 minutes, stirring constantly
Pour the mixture over the Beets and let the beets marinate in the mixture for half an hour.
Add the butter and reheat the beets.
