Won Ton Filling Ingredients:
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 pound of ground pork
- 1/4 pound of chopped shrimp
- 2 teaspoons of minced green onion
- 1 teaspoon of MSG (optional)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- dash of white pepper
Other Ingredients:
- 1 pound of won ton wrappers
- 1 egg white
- chicken broth
Thoroughly mix all of the filling ingredients.
Place half a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper
- Moisten the wrapper edges with egg white
- Fold them into triangles
- Press edges to seal
Moisten the 2 farthest corners of each triangle with water and press them together
Cook the filled and shaped wontons in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Drain them and serve them in bowls of chicken broth.
