Fan Tan Potatoes

- Butter

Instructions

- preheat oven to 425 F.
- peel the potatoes
- slice almost all the way through into 1/4 inch slices
- soak the potato slices in ice water for 20 minutes
- dry the potatoes completely
- place them on a baking sheet
- brush butter over the tops and sprinkle with salt
- bake at 425 degrees for one hour
- brush with butter occasionally while baking
