- 1 (4 to 5 pound) duck
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1/2 cup of sherry
- MSG (optional)
Mix the honey, soy sauce and sherry to make a marinade.
Sprinkle the duck with MSG if you are using it.
Thoroughly coat the duck with the marinade
Soak the duck in the marinade in the refrigerator overnight.
The Next Day:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
Prick the skin of the duck all over with a fork so the fat can run out while it's cooking.
Bake the duck at 325 degrees on a rack over a pan, for about 2-1/2 hors.
