- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of pearl barley
- 1 tablespoon of parsley
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can of onion soup
- 1 soup can of water
- 1 bouilln cube
- 4 ounces of canned mushrooms (or sauted fresh mushrooms)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt the butter in a skillet and cook the barley in the butter until it is golden brown.
Add the remaining ingredients to the toasted barley and bring the mixture to a boil
Pour into a casserole or other baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
